2 days ago i vomitted 4 times, had a stomach ache, diarrhea, and my breath smelled like rotten eggs.

    yesturday i was perfectly fine.

today, it's the same situation as 2 days ago. i was on the bus and i felt dizzy, so i went off 2 stops before my house and vomitted. came home and vomitted again. also i have diarrhea and my breathe smells like rotten eggs again.

and ever since yesturday, whenever i laugh my chest/heart area hurts :( and im only 15

    • ANSWER:
You likely have pneumonia. You should probably stay at home for awhile and get lots of rest and drink lots of water--you shouldn't be going out in the state you're in.

If it's possible, you should see a doctor. Pneumonia sucks, I know, but medication can be one of the best and fastest ways to recover. I hope you feel better soon. <3

  3. QUESTION:
do i have pneumonia or stomach flu?

today, it's the same situation as 2 days ago. i was on the bus and i felt dizzy, so i went off 2 stops before my house and vomitted. came home and vomitted again. also i have diarrhea and my breathe smells like rotten eggs again.

    • ANSWER:
I don't think it's either... Maybe instead of random people who most likely have no experience, no matter what they tell you, answer? Pneumonia (i've had it before, so this is just referring to what I felt) is more like a tad of pressure in your chest and when you cough you usually get globs of mucus. That's because what pneumonia is is mucus in your lungs caused by an infection in your lungs. There are two types, one that you can give to others, one you can't. Bronchitis is in the bronchial tube. Not sure what is in the bronchial tube, but do know it's there (it's kind of a 'of course, where would it be, your spleen?' kind of things). As for stomach flu, whats been happening to you makes sense except for the rotten egg thing. It is not part of the stomach flu. Honestly, I think you should go for a route of someone who you know is a reliable source...

  4. QUESTION:
Two year old, very foul smelling ?
I have a two year old son, he's never had any problems in the past with bad breath or foul smelling burps. Today however he is burping quite a bit and the smell is bad enough to knock a full grown man out. Does anybody have any idea what causes this and whether it's anything to worry about?

    • ANSWER:
My son developed something similar when he was about 5. Severe burping (not something he normally did) and the breath was absolutely disgusting - rotten eggs were nicer. He would then develop diarrhoea. It would last about 24hrs. He had this especially after eating certain foods.
Your son might have a stomach bug which isnt connected to what he's eaten, but if it happens again start making a diary of foods that he's had to see if theres a link.

  5. QUESTION:
why am i suddenly getting stinky burps and diarrhea every week?
why am i suddenly getting stinky burps and diarrhea every week?

it started last week when i was having these really strange burps. they tasted like rotten eggs and i couldnt stop. it made me a little nauseous to taste them but other than that i felt fine. every time i burped friends would say "okay who farted?" . it was humiliating. my boyfriend smelled my breath and said i was fine so it must have come from my stomach. i brushed my teeth like four times that day.

as the night went on the burps were tasting, and smelling, a lot nastier. and then i went to bed and in the middle of the night i woke up with stomach cramps so i went to the bathroom. and when i got there i was stuck there for the next hour.

i didnt worry about it too much. i thought it was just something i ate. but it just happened again only when i woke up to use the bathroom this time the cramps were much more severe and i was breaking a sweat.

ive read some forums about the issue and no one really seems to know what it is or why it started. people with the exact same problem were going to their doctors with it, who have delt with the issue for years and their doctors had no idea and said they were fine.

i personally dont want to do this every week. im going to try a couple different methods. cutting out dairy and then starting a high fiber diet. its honestly embarrassing.

i just feel like there should be a more sound explanation. so i can know how to take care of myself. any ideas? how did this start? what can i do to stop it?

    • ANSWER:
See a Gastroenterologist and have a hydrogen breath test. I have an allergy to fructose and have the same symptoms. After experiencing illness for several years I finally had this test. Once I received the results and removed the fructose from my diet, the symptoms disappeared.
